Kendrick PR Tips – Keeping Your Clinic Busy Over the Summer

As anybody in the aesthetics industry will know, the summer season can be extremely difficult for clinics, with many finding the later Summer months bring with them a huge decline in leads.

Treatments may be in high demand in the run up to warm weather, with many patients wanting to look their best for those all-important holiday snaps – but as the season progresses, they find they have less and less time to make it to their usual appointments.

Juggling children, vacations, and everyday life whilst trying to make the most of the sunny weather can take its toll! Have a look at my top tips for protecting your clinic against the seasonal lull and ensuring you have a busy clinic:

1. Utilise Seasonal Marketing

Using seasonal marketing as a part of your campaign is a simple way to boost your profile and put yourself to the forefront of your patients’ minds. By infusing your marketing calendar with summertime influences, you can revitalise your schedule and ensure your content feels relevant to the needs of potential patients, making them far more likely to engage with what you are putting out there. 2. Summer Events

Running special events throughout the summer is a great way to engage potential clients. Not only will it get them interested in the treatments you have to offer, but it also gives you an opportunity to show off your skills as an aesthetic practitioner. Holding live demonstrations or open evenings gives patients an opportunity to see the effectiveness of your treatments and can go a long way in convincing nervous would-be patients to book their first consultation – why not offer a free follow-up for all attendees to encourage them back through your doors?

3. Special Offers

Possibly the simplest way to attract clients over the summer is by running limited-time special offers and discounts. By making the price aspect irresistible to those looking for treatments, it can help to create a sense of urgency that’ll have patients flocking to your door. Incorporating promotion of your offers with your marketing schedule for optimal results can be key to keeping your diary full over the Summer, but beware – if your clinic USP relates to high-end, luxury treatments, offering too much of a discount may be off-putting to your target clients. Choose a promotion that aligns with your clinic’s values, whilst still offering a great deal for the best effects.

4. Keep up with Engagements

During lulls in clinic activity, it is more important than ever to keep up a presence on potential patients’ social media feeds. Take it up a notch by personally responding to comments and shares on your posts to keep followers engaged with your content and drawn into a discussion! Not only will this help build a personal relationship with current followers, it makes social media algorithms work in your favour by exposing your content to more news feeds and increasing the potential for more patient leads! As well as social media, make sure you’re keeping up to date with newsletters and blogs, promoting what your busy clinic is up to and what is coming in the near future. The more you can increase your online presence, the better it will be for the prospects of your clinic.
