City dwellers rejoice! Barrecore opened its doors last week to its brand new studio in Moorgate in the heart of the city of London. Located steps away from the tube station and right next to the Crossrail Station (due to be completed in 2018), it is set to be THE go-to exercise location for the busy city worker.
Designed impeccably with the city professional in mind, the new 2 studio location is partnered with indoor cycling concept, Digme Fitness. Fusing two successful boutique fitness studios is the first of its kind and really does pave the way for the future of fitness. With large changing facilities, complete with cowshed products for the well-deserved post-class shower and GHDs for pampering, the studio is perfect for a class at any time of day.
The journalists arrived at the new Moorgate studio, armed with their Barrecore socks for a 6.30pm class start which saw the journalists put through their paces with a Signature Express Class led by both founder Niki Rein and lead instructor Emily King. After feeling the barre-burn, journalists then head straight into an immersive 30-minute Digme Fitness RIDE class – which certainly worked up a sweat!
Feeling suitably sweaty and muscles recovering from the burn, journalists were able to mingle with the EBWPR, Barrecore and Digme Fitness team over a glass of bubbles and delicious canapes provided by Nourish Kitchen including raw cacao brownie and a rather fiery avocado and sweet potato bite.
The celebratory evening was a great success which left many of the journalists eager to come back for more. Anna Hunter, of Get the Gloss commented “squatting, spinning and more than slightly dying at the beautiful new fusion studio in Moorgate. Boutique fitness is the future if this burn is anything to go by!” and Culture Trip blogger Esme commented “a new studio bringing Barrecore and Digme Fitness under one roof is such an exciting addition to the London Fitness Scene”.
