An #Acne101 blogger evening with Dr Stefanie Williams

16th November 2016

There’s nothing that we at EBWPR love more than an event jam packed full of informative skincare information, trialling of excellent products and a room full of bloggers leaving feeling more confident about their skin than they did when they arrived. That’s exactly what we achieved with the #Acne101 event with Dr Stefanie Williams at Eudelo.

Hosted by Dr Stefanie and influential acne blogger Em Ford from My Pale Skin, we invited some of our favourite bloggers to attend the evening, which began with a fascinating presentation from Dr Stefanie about the myths and truths of acne. This was full of eye opening facts and gave everyone a better understanding of their skin, acne or not!

We then invited Em Ford to have a Q&A with Dr Stefanie about her own experience with acne. It was so encouraging and inspiring to hear how Em doesn’t let acne dampen her confidence and how she’s found peace with her skin. Then, the Acne Assassination stations were introduced by Dr Stefanie and the guests were invited to mingle with each other and with Em Ford or visit one of the stations.

The first station, the consultation station, was a roaring success, with Dr Stefanie Williams inviting each blogger in to have a 1-2-1 conversation with her about their skin. Every blogger who saw her was thrilled with the advice and came away with some tips on how to effectively treat their skin.

After visiting the consultation station, the attendees were invited to the skincare station, where they could pick up the products Dr Stefanie or another member of her team had prescribed. This included Eudelo approved products from NeoStrata, La Roche Posay, Jan Marini and SkinCeuticals, which the bloggers could take home to test.

Bloggers who had booked in prior to the event experienced an acne-blitzing Hydrafacial with a member of Dr Stefanie’s team – we had lots of glowing complexions by the end of the evening! There was also a VISIA complexion analysis system up and running, allowing the bloggers to get a better insight into their skin.

Oxygenetix Acne Control Foundation was on display at the Colour Matching Station, where celebrity make-up artist Scarlett Burton found each attendee their perfect Oxygenetix shade and showed each blogger the best way to apply Oxygenetix. We had so many bloggers commenting that it was incredible to have a foundation so targeted to their skin type.

As with all EBWPR events, there were some delicious healthy snacks on offer from Peardrop, some skin health boosting fruit water and teas gifted by Joe’s Teas.

Each blogger left brimming with knowledge and a goody bag filled with their personalised skincare regime, an Oxygenetix Acne Control foundation, a Joe’s Teas box and Dr Stefanie Williams’ book, ‘Future Proof Your Skin’.

We're looking forward to organising our next event with Dr Stefanie in the new year!
